REDISCOVERING ANCESTRAL WISDOM, HEALING THROUGH LISTENING, BECOMING FULLY HUMAN AGAIN
Hello and Welcome! I’m Ria, a Celtic-descended, musical soul and PhD researcher (Earth-listening). I’m honoured to help you access profound and subtle guidance at times of transition. One of my superpowers is I can connect across ways of knowing and sensing the world. I grew up speaking three languages as a child, and have travelled or worked in over forty countries. I studied law in Australia, and then a Masters at Oxford University, and dedicated my life to social justice. But I suffered anxiety and from the crippling pain of undiagnosed endometriosis – worsened by my stressful professional life. My daily zen and singing practices helped me tune in to my own heart, but it wasn’t til I was stuck in COVID lockdown that I heard Country’s personal invitation to listen.
When we come closer, into profound relationship with Country, it is as though Country awakens us from a sensory amnesia that the modern world insisted on, in order to decimate Nature. I was delighted and awe-struck to notice that my psychic senses, and somatic memories, were being awakened through listening. This intelligence is of the kind that AI doesn’t interact with – it is intelligence only the body can know. I now explore ancestral Earth-based knowledges through a range of listening and practices. I feel privileged to be sharing this work through my workshops, coaching and through readings with the Celtic Oracle. Ultimately, we are deepening in relationship with the natural world, which is calling us, and which fosters profound healing, insight and growth.
